Last weekend we had some fun with Maya and Ron in San Diego. We "played" some guitar, made our best attempts at Karaoke- but Simon said Tony and I were the worst he had ever heard!, and had some fabulous fondue with a pot of cheese and the chocolate fountain.Saturday and Sunday the kids stayed with Maya and Ron and made pottery, visited a mission, had two football parties, and learned to Chinese paint. Tony and I shopped and had lunch on the waterfront in La Jolla, attended an art festival in historic San Diego, stayed in a historic hotel (code for needs rennovation really bad), did some boogie boarding in Carlsbad, and walked down the pier in Oceanside with gellatos- which we tried for the first time.
It was a fun weekend for everyone. Thanks Maya and Ron!
