This Saturday Tony and I presented Kelsey with a trade- her favorite fashionably torn denimn mini for a new clean cut one and three Roxy t's. "Mom, it's COOL. Everyone wears ripped up clothes; it's what's in," she pleaded. We stuck to our guns.
So this morning I have no idea what happened but somehow my shirt came out of the dryer torn, and I didn't notice until we got it on. Putting a shirt on right now requires lots of help and is not a fun process. Since I wasn't going anywhere today I decided to leave it on. Kelsey came in the kitchen and said, "Oh, mom! I don't think you should wear this shirt; it's torn all over the back."
As she held my shirt in her cute little hands I replied, "That's the style. Everyone is wearing ripped up clothes."
Sometimes it's fun to be the mom.
