What a busy weekend we had. It was filled with projects- even little hands helped. We...

This is a whole house fan. It's supposed to cool the attic and drive down your a/c bill. It's still awaiting a vent cover.

Planted this cute little Hibiscus plant that Tony bought me for Mother's day. Look at the size of it's peers! It will be fun to watch it grow.

Moved the patio table to the other side of the back yard- near the gate to the pool. Not to be confused with the side yard gate you see in this photo. Loving the rug there!

This may not look like much, but it's 7 feet by 14 feet and that's a lot of chain link to tie! And so we have a kennel, and temporary floor for the dog, and some dirt outside for the kids to get nice and dirty in.

Ok, so you can't see the yard- yet. But the seed is laid and fertilized and the sprinkler heads got replaced and we're expecting grass in a few weeks. You grow, grass!

We finished the weekend off with an all American 66ers game. Kaid loved it. The rest of us wondered why baseball is considered a spectator sport.

Paint update

As promised, here's the paint update.

The laundry room's pale apricot got tinted darker than the light smudge they put on top of the quart of paint. It looked like this: (Yes, that's institution color paint)

And I couldn't have that so we went with this color. I liked it so much I even used it to cover the horrible entry way flat paint. (Which is not done, obviously)

And a few shots of the kids bathroom which was done a couple of weeks ago. (There are a couple more walls with art and accessories, but you get the idea).

Anyone want to come over and pick up a brush? There are still plenty of rooms left!
