Ohhh la la and some other fun things

Maya and I had some fun with the camera while we waited for the sun to go down so we could party! "Oooh, chillin'... just waiting for the sun to go down... Oh, chillin' a lighter shade of brown." Don't know that song? You're too young to be reading my blog!

Football pads and little dresses

Football pads were distributed and here we go! I'll take some shots of the practice uniform soon. Kelsey wore this cute little dress that day and I had to share. Cheer uniforms and game uniforms aren't out for a few weeks.

And we have paint! Finally the horrible teal is gone and the kitchen is complete with paint. Up next are the cabinets. I'd say we'd put the cabinets off, but we made the mistake of stripping a set of doors already- and onward march.

The puppy

The kids have had some summer fun with the doggy. Kelsey has been teaching her some tricks ( I still don't think Bella knows anything but sit and no) and yesterday was an event filled day of seeing which build- a- bear outfits fit the dog. They came up with this contraption- the prized doggy. They had a fun time, but I'm not so sure the dog did. Bella paid us back when she stole half a loaf of home made bread off the counter!
