Happy birthday, mommy

One too cute card, three fabulous pairs of shoes (thanks kids), $10 Kaiden drew to buy more shoes, and Tony's sneakiness this week-and this morning left me this box to find this morning after he left for work. The kids wanted to take pics of me opening their gifts they wrapped themselves. Thanks everyone!

For Tony

29...

So call 30 what you want, I think this picture of me in Hell, Grand Cayman sums it up ok!

This is officially my last post being 29. I fear how the world will change when I wake up in the morning! I'm going to hope I still get to keep my eyesight and flexibility in my old age- wouldn't that be weird if you just woke up at 30 with a head of grey hair and a pair of glasses on your nightstand? Thirty- I'm not even sure that sounds right! But, it's coming none the less.

I have no idea what Tony is up to. He's been going places after work the last few days- planning something, and hiding receipts. I suppose I could look up the purchases on the online banking, but I'm not a peeker, and that would ruin all the fun. Tomorrow he's taking me to San Diego and I think we're spending Saturday and Sunday at the beach- much thanks to Maya and Ron for taking the kids and hosting the night of the pizza/ fried chicken and chocolate fountain tomorrow- I hope we don't get sick! Yesterday he gave me the one birthday gift I asked for- he let me sleep in and packed the kids lunches and took the little ones to school. Yeah, I had to be in Kelsey's class at 8:30 to volunteer, but oh how blissful was that extra hour. Before we went to bed he helped me with my toe nail painting. Thanks T- for being so sensitive and making me feel great in my old age!

Dog Park

The idea of a dog park is pretty fun! We took the kids over there last night, with the dog- of course, and it was a good time. There were more people there than I expected- at least 20 dogs and their owners. I know what you're thinking, but there was no poo in sight. Plenty of free bags offered at the dispenser, though, to pick it up if you need one. It's great, the kids and dogs all just run around and play. It was like a super petting zoo for the kids, Bella wore herself out so much that she came home and zonked out for the night. As you can see, Tony made himself a few friends too. He was collecting golden retrievers- they just came over and laid down at his feet. We will definitely go back.

The Game

Kaiden and Kelsey both had fun at the game on Saturday. She enjoyed cheering in front of the bleacher and Kaiden got a big kick out of his team winning the kids who beat them in the scrimmage. In the action shot, Kaiden is the third one in from the left in the front (his team had the R on their helmets). Kelsey's pics have to wait- uniforms still aren't in yet. Go Redlands!
