Welcome to the swamp!

Southern California tiered electricity is less than fun in the sun down here. They call it an evaporative cooler- as if that sounds more spohisticated. NO, fans and blinds don't help, and the pool is only torture while you stare at the water and clean the hot inside of your house. This beast is a dream. Instant cooling, inexpensive power, and did I say instant cooling? This thing does in 3 minutes what it takes the a/c 2 hours to do- at 25% of the power. So, my friends, welcome to the swamp, and Southern California Edison, will you please take us out of tier 5???

First days are always exciting!

New school year, new clothes I'm big enough to pick out myself, new backpacks- Kaid is trying to show you his penguin backpack here, new fun snacks in new lunch boxes... and old friends. What a sweet combination for every child!

Last day of summer

Kelsey and I had some fun doing her choice for the last day of sumer. Kaid got to play with a friend (to whom's house a costume must always be worn for playing- says Kaiden) so Kelsey wanted to make some Halloween Cards. After a trip to Micheal's it was an event filled morning! (Of course Kelsey wanted to take a picture of mom, too).

Football practice

These were just too darn cute not to share! 2 hours a night, 5 nights a week, and you'd think it wouldn't be so fun for the mommies- but it keeps getting cuter. Go Redlands!
