Who would have thought that the color of a backsplash would cause so much confusion! I need some opinions. The cabinets are a medium- dark cherry color and we went with a lighter grey granite for the countertop. I'd like something with a natural stone, and Tony wants something that isn't too trendy- more simple and won't go out of style anytime soon. Ideas, please?

The demolition begins

HAPPY EASTER!
Demolish is such a strong word!
Tomorrow a crew is coming to my house. They called to say they will be here for the demolition at 2:30. Hearing that is pretty intimidating. Maybe they could you a word like prep the kitchen for the installation. My breath is held that the transformation from tile to granite will be perfect and smooth. This isn't my kitchen in the picture, but scary enough, isn;t it?
In the mean time, my shoulder still hurts a lot. Most things I think I can do and a strong pain often reminds me to stop. It happens at weird times, occasionally it's just reaching forward or moving. Physical therapy starts Wednesday. Hopefully things will go well and I'll start feeling better soon. Right now it's hard. I feel exhausted, sore, and frustrated in not being able to some things I would like to. Who knows? Maybe the shoulder will transform as magically as my counter top!
