Painting-lots of painting

Two rooms down- well, for paint anyway. This is the family room and the walls in the nursery that have art on them. Next up? Getting the rest of the office out of the nursery and installing blinds and the rest of the curtains down stairs!

Not one, but TWO students of the month in the same day from our house! It was an exciting morning around here. After the assembly the principal draws five names from a bag with all the students inside. Kaiden was one of the 5 that gets to go to lunch with the principal. My kid was beaming!

Kelsey's pic came out blurry so I grabbed a close up shot. The last image is a cute captured moment of the kids washing the car in the 100 degree weather this weekend. Obviously Kaid has the hose- watch out!

Getting ready for babies

Is this not the cutest thing ever? I forgot how small little cribs are- and the sweetness of all the little people things. Daddy is putting together the crib, and the office that you see in the back ground is being transitioned into the nursery every day. Stay tuned for more pics. Oh- and for all us old moms out there- this crib is the coolest. The mobile on the crib actually plays several different kinds of soothing music and noises and has settings to vibrate the whole crib. What next?

Where's the bag???

We went crazy this morning looking for a bag from the store we KNEW we put in the car! Of course, this morning I found it in Kaid's back pack. Why didn't we think to check there?
