Monday we took the kids to the Pirates show in Anaheim/ Buena Park with some friends. There were several chances for the kids to participate. It was a great time! I wondered from the perspective of the little guys how realistic everything seemed. My favorite part? "Enjoy your meal; it'll be your last!"
Come on in to our page. Kick off your shoes, and sit down with us for a bit.

The Anti-posting post
So here's the excuse: Whenever we are doing any revamping in the house the posting has to take a back seat and, well- you think we may have vanished off the face of the earth! The reality is, this is what we've been up to. Yes, it's bad. And I yearn for cupboard doors back on hinges and wine glasses in racks, not on my dining room table. The cupboards themselves are stained and drawers are back in. The doors are waiting patiently for stain in the garage.

A few holiday favorites
Don't we all get too busy during the holidays to get to the things we would like to? Here are a few pictures worth sharing.
Student of the month again, Aunt Jill and Kelsey, the Family Home Evening where we decorated up Daddy - yes that's a full pillow in his tummy, Kelsey's shower head, my dad with me and the kids, and Kelsey on Christmas morning getting some love from the dog!
The Poinsettia
What a beautiful and cheap artificial plant, I thought. So, I bought it to add to my collection of Christmas decorations, with the intent of it lasting for years. One morning I woke up to find a leaf falen off, and then the stems turned green- like you see here. Wouldn't you know it? The darn thing is real! No wonder it was so cheap.
