Yeah Hoo!

The drum roll please... We have both a working printer and I uploaded my long awaited pictures! Horray! Enjoy them. In order- Easter, Basketball season, and father- daughter Valentine dinner and dance.

What did pink panther say when he stepped on an ant?

Dead ant, dead ant, dead ant dead ant dead ant dead ant dead aaaannnt (to the tune of his theme song).

Right now I really wish he would come over here and step on all these ants!!! I was gardening this morning and they were crawling all over me. I keep sanitizing the kitchen and they come for the water after. Bait goes back to their nests, I breathe a sigh of relief, only to feel something creepy and crawly on my skin again. I tell myself it's a piece of hair or something. Of course I can't resist smacking it- and there is yet another "dead ant, dead ant..."

Maybe I should just let it get really hot in here and they will go away. But then again, we would have to go away if it were hot, too. What a predicament these ants put us all in!

A few things

So a friend of mine was kind enough to share some pictures she had of us on a jump drive. You can see this one, but none of mine- since we still haven't fixed the computer/ printer issue. That is my goal for the week. This one is from the Angels game we went to in June (which was surprisingly cold- hence me wearing Tony's big sweatshirt over my sweater)!

Here's what we've been up to. Everyone had fun lighting fireworks (yes, Kaiden got to light some this year) and livin' it up with Uncle Ron's family- thanks guys! Last weekend we took a trip to San Diego. The kids were spoiled- we visited the San Diego zoo, went to a nature preserve and watched tadpoles, etc, had two days at the beach- one with a little surfing- Tony surprised the kids with buying them their own board after, and one playing in the water at high tide, and we ate out way too much! Kaiden loved rockin' out to Karaoke and swimming in the pool. The weekend was great.

Yesterday the kids and I went to our second dollar movie of the summer. I actually liked Space Chimps- it was cute .

It's a great summer and we are all enjoying ourselves in the pool and spending time together.

Updated blog name and invitations

Kaiden wanted to Google himself and see what images came up. I was quite surprised to see that Google pulled up my blog in several pictures just by typing in Kelsey and Kaiden. Naturally, no mom wants free access to personal info about her kids pulling up in strange people's living rooms. Since there was no way to clear Google's cache memory ourselves, I had to change the site name to delete the link. Here's why you had to get invited to my site: I locked the site from any viewers I did not invite. Additionally, if you check out the settings tab, there is a place where you can tell blogspot that you do not want any search engines to pull info from your page. I hope this info will keep you all safe and secure. Sorry about the site name change, I promise not to do it again- I think I have this figured out now. Happy and safe blogging!
