Kelsey and Shelby became friends in first grade and have been inseparable ever since. We're so glad they came out for the weekend.

Little boy tackles and falls

My baby broke his arm at football tackling another player. The boy went down and they both landed on the poor little arm. He's been so brave, practicing drills and all at practice. Our little hero.

Celebration weekend

Last weekend we had some fun with Maya and Ron in San Diego. We "played" some guitar, made our best attempts at Karaoke- but Simon said Tony and I were the worst he had ever heard!, and had some fabulous fondue with a pot of cheese and the chocolate fountain.

Saturday and Sunday the kids stayed with Maya and Ron and made pottery, visited a mission, had two football parties, and learned to Chinese paint. Tony and I shopped and had lunch on the waterfront in La Jolla, attended an art festival in historic San Diego, stayed in a historic hotel (code for needs rennovation really bad), did some boogie boarding in Carlsbad, and walked down the pier in Oceanside with gellatos- which we tried for the first time.

It was a fun weekend for everyone. Thanks Maya and Ron!
