A little out of it

A week and a half ago I underwent surgery on my shoulder. It looked much like the picture you see here. I chose the picture with the dummy because, well, me right now is not a pretty sight. The second picture is what I have to wear for 6 weeks. It completely immobilizes my shoulder- no that's not an apple she's holding, it prevents hand cramping. It's not too bad, except it's hard to sleep with. Much thanks to family and friends we've had lots of help. The doctor said I should be able to move my arm again in a few months with physical therapy. I'm looking forward to getting my arm back, and so is my hair!

Arrr a fun family home evening

Monday we took the kids to the Pirates show in Anaheim/ Buena Park with some friends. There were several chances for the kids to participate. It was a great time! I wondered from the perspective of the little guys how realistic everything seemed. My favorite part? "Enjoy your meal; it'll be your last!"

A few holiday favorites

Don't we all get too busy during the holidays to get to the things we would like to? Here are a few pictures worth sharing.

Student of the month again, Aunt Jill and Kelsey, the Family Home Evening where we decorated up Daddy - yes that's a full pillow in his tummy, Kelsey's shower head, my dad with me and the kids, and Kelsey on Christmas morning getting some love from the dog!
